For a while my shopping 'mantra' has been to build my wardrobe up with essentials and not too many "trend led" pieces. Obviously I'm a sucker for a trend or two (or three) so I do still make the odd purchase.
However, I've been wanting a denim shirt for a while. I feel it is a classic and versatile piece.
