Addiction

Spring/Summer style is beginning to really kick in.  However, the weather could not be more contrasting, it is dismal, which is definitely putting a downer on my mood.

To cheer me up I have been scouring the internet for images of my latest addiction... Gillian Zinser. Her 'LA cool' style is definitely inspiring me.  I love the boho influence and the slight grungey-ness. Perfection.

A new addiction has started.

The Row

I'm a die hard Olsen twin fan. So, its no surprise that I adore their clothing lines. Not just because they are run/designed by MKA but the clothes/accessories are to die for!  Especially, The Row. I particularly LOVE their A/W 11 collection, I am already lusting after their bags.

I recently saw a picture of the two wearing some beautiful sunglasses from The Row and fell in love.  I've had a look over the whole collection and want every single pair, they really are beautifully designed.  Perfect to finish off any look.

My two personal favourites are these :

These would be perfect for my summer wardrobe!

Sunshine

I don't know about anywhere else, but here in London we are having some lush weather today.  Glorious sunshine and mild temperatures... Spring/Summer is FINALLY here. I even managed to crack out my floral Topshop jumpsuit (a bargain sale purchase) that I have been yearning to wear since December! Thank you Mother Nature.

As I am such an eratic shopper, I have been planning my Spring/Summer wardrobe for a while now.  Tearing inspiration from magazines and saving images from blogs in the hope that this will lead to me having a successful wardrobe this season.

These shorts from Bitching & Junkfood are definately on my list...

PFW - Favourites

Paris was by far my favourite of all Fashion Weeks this season. It usually is. There really were some beautiful collections. Whilst compiling trend reports it is really apparent how blurred trends are this season, there are no clear defined 'this is a trend' moments.  Don't get me wrong there is a lot to inspire you for example use of colour, polka dots, metallics, birds, prints etc.

Here are my favourites from Paris...

Stella McCartney

Confirming that polka dots are a trend for next season.  I also loved her metallic pieces.
Givenchy

I'm a massive fan of this Givenchy this season, I loved the patterns, the panthers, the materials and the use of sheer fabrics.
Balmain

Heavy embellishments, metallics, rock chick chic... I love you Balmain.
Chloe

Chloe has always been one of my favourites.  I really loved this collection, the soft leather, capes and the snakeskin print are to die for.  Definately need to invest in some soft chiffon pieces.
Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen never fails to disappoint and this season was no different.  The elegant fabrics, lace, ruffles, feathers and intricate detailing juxtaposed with the futuristic heels, metal and harnesses created a beautiful collection.

Chanel

Chanel, again a beautiful collection.  This feather dress is my favourite piece from the collection. I loved the grungy dark tweed.  I shall be coveting the entire collection.

MFW - Favourites

Slightly slower on the uptake of posting my Milan Fashion Week favourites. I am currently trend reporting at work so whilst my mind is focused on all things fashion week, I thought I would post my favorites from Milan...

Fendi
I love all the fur gilet's that are cropping up all over the runways. I already have a big black faux fur one, but I definately want to invest in a slightly different style for next winter.  I can never resist a bit of fur.
Dolce & Gabbana
This is definately an outfit inspiration.  I love everything about this look, the embellishment, the gold, the contrast with the gorgeous chiffon blouse. I loved the Dolce & Gabbana collection, it was hard to choose one image.  I loved the stars!

Gucci
Polka dots are looking to be a key print for A/W12. I'm going to try and start investing now.  This look is beautiful and elegant. Love the sheer chiffon maxi with the contrasting bow.

Jil Sander
Jil Sander's S/S11 collection is proving to be a favourite amongst  the fashion pack at the moment.  It's also one of my favourites for SS11 and kick-started my hot pink obssesion and inspired me to buy a hot pink shift dress from Zara.  A/W 12 brings more colour and surprisingly (as my wardrobe consists of mostly black) I for one am happy that it is staying around.

Just Cavalli
I loved all the ditzy prints at Just Cavalli.  I love this look, I'm a sucker for a cute peterpan collar and the fluted sleeves add a new edge.

Prada
Prada, always one to define trends. The large, translucent sequin skirts remind me of mermaids.  So pretty!

Salvatore Ferragmo

So I really need to invest in a utility shirt, especially if I can find a sheer one as luxurious as this on my pittiful budget!
